Follow the Activity Stream

The Feature Guide

The Feature Guide is an in-depth look at the features for Tasks on the Run. If what you're looking for is a quick overview, try taking the Tour.

The Activity Stream

The Activity Stream is the way to track every item that gets added, updated, or commented on. This works especially well for small teams, or teams that are first starting out with Tasks on the Run.

Alternatives to the Activity Stream

There are three alternative ways to follow what's going on that together show you the same information as the Activity Stream, but in a more narrowly focused fashion.

First, you can simply follow recent Team Blog posts directly on the Team Blog. It already displays items in reverse chronological order, so the latest are always at the top. Second, if you want to follow comments, the Team section has a Recent Comments page that aggregates all the comments for a selected period. There is an equivalent page in the Folders section for comments that get added to tasks, milestones, notes and photos.

Third, if you want to be aware of what new items are getting added to your folders over time, you can use the Recent Additions page in your Dashboard. At a glance you can see what's been added, and you can click through to take a look. This works particularly well if you only check in to see what's been added periodically.
