Get Everyone Connected With the Team Blog

The Team Blog is your team's virtual home base on Tasks on the Run. The people on your team may be divided by geography, peer group, or history, but this is one place where they can all connect. They can use the Team Blog like a more open form of email, to share ideas and keep each other up to date about what's going on.

  • Host discussions
  • Share file attachments
  • Organize blog posts with tags
  • Format blog posts without using HTML

This is the Team Blog page, showing the blog posts filtered by tag

Use Folders for Easy Collaboration

The Team Blog is open to everyone on your team. You also have the option to create limited-access folders where you can organize your tasks, and also share notes, photos and files for easy collaboration.

  • Share notes, photos and files within a secure, authenticated environment
  • Keep participants up to date with RSS feeds and email notifications

Like the Team Blog, all folder items support commenting, so it's easy to have focused conversations.

Follow Discussions

Tasks on the Run lets you add comments nearly everywhere, which can generate a lot of separate discussions. To more conveniently follow what people are saying, you have two options.

  • View all recent comments combined in one place
  • Filter for the comments that relate to you personally

You can use the Recent Comments pages to follow all the separate discussions in one place. Alternatively, with the Filtered Comments page on your Dashboard, you can follow only the comments that are related to you personally.

Keep Everyone Up to Date

Tasks on the Run makes it easy to keep the people on your team updated. On your website, the best way to stay updated is to view the Activity Stream, which shows every item and comment as it's added.

  • The Activity Stream shows every item that gets added
  • There's a full set of RSS feed and email notification services

Some like to track updates separately through their feed reader or their email inbox, and Tasks on the Run makes it easy to keep these people connected too. There are easy to configure RSS feed and email notification services for each type of content on your website.
